Blue Goby

Ioglossus calliurus

Max Size

Offshore waters in sand burrows

This is a pretty common fish but can be hard to spot. They are usually in small groups over open sand and once they are approached they will hide in sand burrows. It has taken me two dive seasons to get this close for a picture.
